Hello!! My name is Robert Lacitinola, Owner and Operator of Bob's Big Boy Guide Service. My wife Linda and I, and our pups Willie, Hank, Zeeke and Abby are appreciative that you have considered us for an outdoor adventure in the wonderful outdoors of Wyoming. The Bighorn River and surrounding areas have so much to offer the outdoors seeker, hopefully you will think so too!
I have been an avid outdoorsman since around the age of 5. Hunting and fishing was
something that captivated me very early in life. I began fly fishing at the age of 7.
Though I have been involved in all types of fishing, fly fishing, single hand and two
handed fly rods have always been my favorite. Bass, Panfish, Salmon, Steelhead, Pike,
Carp, etc, all have been at one time or another, a target for my fly rod. I have fished
many states including Alaska and have been an avid fly tier for most of my life and
taken classes for advanced fly tying and fly casting. The fly rod has always been my passion, but throughout my life I have also gear fished a lot for different species, so we are cool with a spinning rod... :) As long as someone is respectful to the resource, what or how someone fishes is their choice. That said, don't be intimidated by the fly rod, we will help!!!
Trips are arranged based on what you are looking for in a day on the river or lake. It is
your day! I try to accommodate to the best of my ability, based on the conditions we
face on a given period or season that you have booked your trip. We also enjoy
outdoor cooking, so that's another option to add to the day if you like. Taking
pictures of the amazing wildlife here is encouraged. Sometimes it’s the little things that
really make the day special, not just the fish! I can take 1-3 people in my guide boat, so
bring a friend and a positive attitude, and we will have a great day!
We believe in “leaving folks a little better than we found them” and that is what we
strive to do here.
Please call or text, and leave a message at 1-307-409-7571…We try to respond by the evening at
the latest, to each call. We are often out of service and only answer emergency calls when on
the river.
