Current Fishing Report
4/17/2026 Fishing is good to great right now. The weather has been incredible, but still can turn in a hurry. Pretty much anything as far as flies that normally works is good if you have the drift right. Put it close and they will reward you- Change your weight, not so much your fly. Baetis, Caddis, and midges are the main food right now, with the always present sow/cress bugs always being an option.
3/01/2026 Fishing has made an upswing and is more consistent. We got through the last cold spell and temperatures have gone back to being unseasonably warm. Fish are starting to move into some of the faster water and spawning activity has begun. Don't forget your foul weather gear and your warm clothing. Temperatures are still close to freezing first thing in the morning.

2/28/2026 Fishing is steady when the weather/wind cooperates. Bring your cold gear just incase
2/10/2026 - Fishing is quite good. Weather has continued to be above normal on temps, but we fished a couple days ago in a snow squall in the afternoon, after running around in a light sweatshirt in the morning...So, be prepared if you come, it's still winter. Fish are good quality right now as far as size, and some smaller ones too, but you have a shot for a couple good ones each day right now... Scuds, sows, midges and worms are the deal. Getting the fly in front of the fish is key right now, since it's colder and they aren't as active, but they will eat if you get it in their grill. Adjust your weight...Adding a shot or taking one off is the big difference right now from getting into them and not. Still a shot at a dry fly eat once in a while, mostly midges... Keep the dry fly rod ready, and if the clouds show up, the BWO's will likely show up with them...
